The Atlantic Immigration Program  is a pathway to permanent residence, for skilled workers and international graduates  to work and live in one of the following Canada’s four Atlantic  provinces:

Basic Eligibility Requirements

To immigrate through the Atlantic Immigration Program, you must:

  • Have 1 year of work experience in an eligible job or industry (unless you studied in an Atlantic province)
  • Have a job offer to work in one of the participating communities
  • Can communicate in English or French
  • Show that you have enough money to cover your expenses (unless you’re already working in Canada)
  • Have a qualifying secondary or post-secondary school credential
  • Receive a confirmation of provincial endorsement
